| About Aruba |

Aruba is located to the north of Venezuela in the southern Caribbean Sea. The island is 19.6 miles (30 km) long and 6 miles (9km) across at its widest point, with a land area of approximately 70 sq miles (184 sq km). This flat island is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Aruba’s population is about 100,000 people. Dutch is the official language of Aruba but Papiamento, (a Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, English dialect), English and Spanish are also spoken here.
The capital of Aruba is Oranjestad, located on the southwest coast of the island.
